Job Description

Main purpose of the job Planning, coordinating and monitoring all logistics related activities in the coordination and providing support to medical assistance activities, according to MSF protocols and standards in order to ensure an optimal running of the activities Responsibilities and tasks • In charge of all tasks related to premises (including maintenance, purchases, search for new premises, plan and organize rehabilitations if needed…) • Monitor the supply activities (local purchase, transport of goods, storage, consumption follow up…) • Participate in the international importation process • Maintain the MSF fleet of vehicles, and manage the purchase of new vehicles • Manage the driver / purchaser • Manage all the administrative activities related to logistics • Manage the logistics budget What we offer: • Legal contract with Social Security coverage • Pay in accordance with the MSF salary table • Health care coverage for the employee and his/her dependents • The chance to gain professional development in an international organization and to develop (career path, training, etc.) within the organization • The opportunity to contribute to our objective of saving lives, alleviating suffering and working with those most in need

Requirements

Specific requirements for the role: • Knowledge of all logistics families • Ability to work inside a team, good activity planning • Technical background (logistics / construction / supply…) • Good IT skills (office pack + applications: MEMO, Trello, supply portal…) Personal attributes required: • Good communication skills • English and Persian language required • Good reporting skills, written and oral
