• Perform tissue culture work, including cell line maintenance, characterization, and expansion
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and cell culture media
• Maintain accurate experimental records
• Take part in managing inventory, ordering of supplies, and cell biology lab duties
• Acquire new skills and integrate new technologies
Requirements
• 2+ years of mammalian/Bacterial cell culture experience with exceptional aseptic technique.
• Experience with molecular biology is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
• Able to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced work environment
• Self-starter, willing to take initiative to accomplish key tasks
• Experience preparing analytical reagents and dilutions
• Comfortable taking notes, writing reports, and performing laboratory-related arithmetic
• Willingness to manage many cell lines and perform extensive cell culture work
