Job Description

Summary: The Jira system administrator position is focused on the maintenance, support, and monitoring of enterprise and workflow automation tools. They will be independently responsible for all aspects of the application development lifecycle for supported tools. The system administrator will typically work as part of a team to implement IT solutions to complex business problems, and support teams to identify technical needs that ensure reliable and sustainable solutions. Jira Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Jira server and Atlassian cloud products, such as Jira software, Jira service management, and Access. Responsibilities: ● Support self-hosted versions of Jira software, Jira service management, and confluence, including the creation and management of custom workflows, security schemes, custom fields, dashboards, and reports configurations. ● Maintain the stability and usability of the platform(s) or tool(s) across production and non-production environments. ● Collaborate on customizing the Jira based on the work management standards, monitor server health, apply patches as needed, and contribute to the successful growth of the system used throughout the enterprise. ● Respond to requests and troubles within the existing system.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields; or Master’s degree. ● More than three years of experience as a Jira administrator with experience customizing Jira projects with various schemes, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes required; 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with a specific focus on Jira as a project or application administrator.
