Job Description

Objective of the role: Responsible for maintaining computer workstation to ensure efficient functions of hardware system and reliability to all system users... List of responsibilities: • Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and upgrade all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. • Set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance and teach employees to use programs and features. • Diagnose computer problems and monitor computer processing system. • Install hardware and software and perform tests on computer equipment and program. • Maintain all terminals and peripherals including printers, scanners, and copiers etc. and fix and replace faulty equipment or accessories when needed. • Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation and removal. • Maintain procedures for logging, reporting and statistically monitor PC performance. • Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations. • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware resources. • Coordinate with the supplier and place order of needed supplies to ensure availability of resources. • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. • Coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware with MIS Manager / Head of IT. • Perform Level 2 IT support (such as escalated issues not possible to handle by Level 1 support team) • Perform other related duties assigned by the Line Managers... Reporting to: IT Manager. Length of Probation Period: 3 Months.

Requirements

University Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in IT engineering. Nature and length of previous experience: 2 - 3 years in related field. Specialist knowledge: Must be familiar with: * Windows Server knowledge * Microsoft exchange * AD server * SQL server * IP phone server * Firewall and switch configuration * Hyper V server installation and maintenance.
