Job Description

• Provide on-site desktop support to staff—including assistance with the use of hardware, software, and cloud-based applications. • Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot network problems. • Assist with setup, configuration, and installation of devices, equipment, software, printers and other peripherals. • Reviews daily operational needs to detect, diagnose, and resolve significant problems or error conditions • Provide backup support for workstation analysis, network administration and network security. • Monitors compliance with security provisions to guarantee data integrity and guard against unauthorized access to information. • Assist in defining network and desktop environment policies, procedures and standards. • Enhance diagnostic tools and reference materials, as well as deliver technical instruction to other specialists and other teams within the organization, including process documentation for proper use of systems. • Document break/fix activities in online ticketing system. • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelors in IT field • Experience with current versions Microsoft Active Directory and desktop management software • Strong background in information technology and proficiency in all current Windows operating systems and SharePoint. • Demonstrated ability to keep up to date with emerging hardware and software technologies. • Working knowledge of current Apple Macintosh OSX • Experience with an Apple OSX client configuration system • Good communication skills both oral and written. • Ability to perform with limited supervision
