Job Description
• Performs daily server/network operational functions, including installs, updates, maintenance diagnostics, configuration and incident management, etc.
• Maintain and monitor network security solutions including Firewalls, WAFs, Anti-viruses & other security tools.
• Monitors the operation team ticket queue, solves any tickets possible, and escalates when necessary.
• Manage user accounts (create users, unlock accounts, reset passwords, update information, etc.)
• Produces and maintains detailed documents such as network diagrams, technical process documentation, troubleshooting guides, inventory list of hardware, equipment, & devices and etc.
• Set up new employees’ systems (computer imaging, user accounts, anti-virus, email, domain account, phone, etc.)
• Providing troubleshooting assistance to internal and external customers for IT issues related to library computers, printers, fax machines, copiers, connectivity to networks or information systems including network, VPN, etc.
• Candidates may also be asked to perform other types of IT related tasks
• Participate in 24x7 on call rotation.
