Job Description

1. Respond to IT issues and requests. Record, resolve and escalate calls as appropriate to ensure smooth operation of implemented systems. 2. Install and configure and roll out systems. 3. Ensure that the helpdesk operates in an effective manner so that Service Level Agreements are met. Monitor and report on service level achievement against targets. 4. Perform daily system management and administrative activities to ensure the proper operation and security of the different IT systems, including but not limited to user management, system backup, system health check, Log auditing, capacity management. 5. Implement Disaster Recovery Plans followed by testing and approval by IT Service Manager. Regular execution of Disaster Recovery Drill as required by the IT Security Policy. 6. Develop a detailed understanding of the company plan and business objectives of BAT Iran. 7. Establish strong work relationships with the staff, external suppliers, and colleagues within the Middle East Area and business partners. 8. Ensure compliance with IT strategy and standards as applicable to BAT Pars.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Software or Hardware • Fluent in both Written and Spoken English • Strong technical background • Strong communication skills • Analytical mind capable of independently addressing a problem and choosing the most appropriate solution from a group of identified possibilities • In-depth knowledge of systems functionality and usage • Experience with ITIL foundation is an advantage.
