Job Description

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, telephone, printers, and scanners.
  • Ensure the improvement of the IT and telecom equipment and testing techniques.
  • Participate in the inventory of equipment.
  • Add or edit Wi-Fi users.
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Provide technical support across the Company (in person or over the phone).
  • Follow Setting up accounts for new users.
  • CCTV installation and Troubleshooting.
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
  • Check the printer’s error and change consumables when necessary.
  • Train new staff and providing IT induction by providing user instructions, procedures, or manuals.
  • Troubleshoot network or connectivity problems for users or user groups.
  • Perform routine maintenance or standard repairs to networking components or equipment.
  • Install new hardware or software systems or components, ensuring integration with existing network systems.
  • Test computer software or hardware, using standard diagnostic testing equipment and procedures.
  • Install or repair network cables, including fiber optic cables.
  • Train users in procedures related to office automation and local network connectivity.
  • Test repaired items to ensure proper operation.
  • Gather help desk requests and report to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a network expert.
  • Familiar with MCSA, FortiGate, CCNA, and CCNP.
  • Hardworking.

  • Ability to learn new skills techniques and responsibilities.

  • Familiar with the Unifi Access Points.
  • Familiar with IP telephone centers and telecommunication protocols (TDM, and IP).
  • Familiar with computer networks (CCNA, and CCNP).
  • Ability to work with VoIP.
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
  • Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of English including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
