Job Description

The objective of the role: The Information Technology Business Analyst (IT BA) is the strategic interface for the purpose of business and is the value creator for IT-related topics. This role's mission is to become a trusted business partner for the main stakeholders, guarantee continuity of local services, deliver new solutions and improve local processes based on the affiliate's needs and challenges. List of responsibilities: ● Support Affiliate Sprints and Squads to gain business proximity and understand business requirements. ● Act as an interface between business and IT functions and as a contact point for business leads in order to launch initiatives, leading and driving the scoping phase in line with Global standards and strategy. ● Collaborate with other affiliates and/or other Informatics divisions to create synergy between Diagnostics, Pharma, and Diabetes Care divisions where possible. ● Collaborate and contribute to global initiatives and squads, tackling our biggest priorities, deployments, and opportunities to roll out new solutions to the site. ● Take ownership of IT HW, SW, and service solution procurement from E2E perspectives. ● Coordinate our local outsourced managed service provider activities and priorities. ● IT Service Management for our external partner, managing its SLAs and KPIs. ● IT product Lifecycle Management and Lifecycle Planning (forecast for future HW needs). ● Optimize our HW stock management processes and conduct annual reports. ● Provide hands-on support for Facility IT applications and systems and maintain in-depth knowledge in the respective service areas (building management system, CCTV, badge access control, Alarm system, etc.). ● Lead and manage the Infrastructure strategy, architecture, security, and recoverability of all Infrastructure Services like telephony, printer systems, LAN/WAN network systems (switches, routers, wireless access points). ● Responsible for managing and maintaining an effective Disaster Recovery Strategy. Ensure that the business data integrity is protected and maintained at all times. Key challenges: ● Assessing business stakeholders and helping them identify the best solutions to their needs. ● Balancing expectations, workload, and tight deadlines. ● Performing multiple roles as required (BP, BA, Helpdesk Specialist, Facility, IT Specialist). ● Maintaining a wide variety of devices and supporting users who walk up to the IT desk for support. ● Having good coordination and alignment with team members located in different countries.

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable education. ● 5 years of experience in professional IT or other relevant experiences. ● Experience in the Healthcare industry and multinational environments is a plus. ● Experience in Project Management. ● Familiar with Agile methodologies and scrum framework. ● Understanding of Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network. (WAN)/Wireless/Video technologies (routing and switching protocols). ● Understanding of voice technologies and voice/network convergence. ● Familiar with windows server 2012-2016. ● Familiar with virtualization: ESXI. Soft skills and personality traits: ● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. ● Able to work effectively in cross-functional teams. ● Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused orientation. ● Good leadership skills (servant leadership). ● Strong self-management organizational skills.
