Job Description

- Developing control algorithms for a High frequency Silicon Carbide (SiC) Power Inverter consisting of Fault-Mode Detection and Switching Loss Calculation. - Developing thermal and speed/position observer algorithms for a Traction Electric Motor considering the Resolver Algorithms. - Modelling algorithms in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment based on dedicated design guidelines. - Evaluating designs by performing Model-in-the-Loop testing and analyzing auto-generated test reports

Requirements

- BSc. or higher in Electrical/Mechatronics/relevant engineering. - +2 years of experience in control algorithms of Power Inverters/Electric Motors. - Dominant experience in Model-Based Design tools (e.g., MATLAB/SIMULINK) - Experience in Version Control Systems (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket) - Familiarity with Software Development Models (e.g., ASPICE, ISO15504) - Familiarity with Automated Testing tools (e.g. MATLAB/SIMLUINK Test Toolbox) - Familiarity with Requirement Management tools (e.g., MATLAB/SIMLUINK Requirement Toolbox, IBM Rational DOORS) - Familiarity with Issue Tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) - Familiarity with Knowledge Management tools (e.g., Confluence) - Ability to work in an agile environment - Good oral and verbal communication skill in English. - Excellent teamwork, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
