Job Description

Objective of the role: Plan, design, and furnish interiors of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. Formulate design which is practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising productivity, selling merchandise, or improving life style. List of responsibilities: • Prepare scale drawings or architectural designs, using computer-aided design or other tools. • Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and use of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination. • Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) and related software to produce construction documents. • Providing executable data • Inspect construction work on site to ensure its adherence to the design plans • Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure job success. • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources • Developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions • Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail. • Coordinate construction or installation • Inspect facilities or sites to determine if they meet specifications or standards • Draw detailed or technical illustrations. • Confer with clients to determine needs. Reporting to: project manager. Length of Probation Period: 1 month. Working hours: saturday to thursday. .
