Job Description
● Design integrated control systems including dcss, PLCs, and SCADA.
● Liaise with other disciplines.
● Design, and review designs against all applicable standards and specifications.
● Ensure that materials of construction are in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
● Liaise with vendors, integrity supervision, and production units for optimal effectiveness.
● Ensure adherence to OSHAS 18000 and related standards.
● Study and develop analytical reports on the subjects in which the maintenance team could not conclude and the case has been forwarded to the engineering team.
● Find a solution about quality verification of equipment and materials which ASSET inspection team could not conclude to a final decision.
● Feasibility study of the projects based on HSE, process requirements, and standards of design and manufacturing.
● Basic and detailed design of projects covering all required calculations, drawings, technical reports, etc.
● Compile setting of equipment according to the relative standards and work-environment conditions.
● Develop spec. and technical work instructions and procedures for new designs or for projects which lack these requirements.
● Compile and develop MR (Material requisition) doc, technical specifications, datasheets, and vendor list.
● Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantity), MTO (Material Take Off), and Scope of Work according to design doc and DWG for the tender process and cost estimation purpose.
● Technical review of vendors and suppliers' offers based on MR doc, design requirements, datasheets, etc.
● Prepare and develop Technical Bid Appraisal for procurement offers and bidder’s technical offers.
● Prepare tender doc with all requirements for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of projects.
● Participate in the work permit issuance process of all complexes including EB/SM plants of PPC.
● Supervise execution phase of projects and compliance to DWG and standards.
● Design review and approval of design package of projects which has been developed by outsourced consulting companies.
