Job Description

The Instrument Design Engineer role is responsible for the provision of Instrument and control engineering activities in Design construction, commissioning, Start-up, and maintenance of Oil and gas refinery plants and relevant facilities. List of responsibilities: • Providing all Instrument documents including piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s) Instrument data sheets for instrument equipment specified for oil and gas pipelines stations and plants. • Review of documents commenting and endorsing relevant technical data • Analyze project specifications and inquiry requirements; develop design parameters and methodology. • Designing of all related I&C Basic & Detail Documents • Prepare engineering calculations, manage the interfaces and reply to the site queries • Maintain and develop chemical engineering design software. • Follow-up on completed projects including start-up and performance guarantee test. • Appropriate response to client requests and vendor/subcontracts • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends. • Maintain a high professional profile. . Reporting to: Engineering manager. Subordinates: Does not have. Length of Probation Period: 3 months. Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday 8 am to 4:30 pm.
