Job Description

The indirect procurement supervisor is responsible for handling and supervising purchases of different indirect categories like general and administration, buildings and facilities, fleet, logistics and fuel, capital equipment and MRO, professional services, sales, and marketing equipment, and agencies Main responsibilities: ● Source capable suppliers for defined projects, and commercial and technical requirements. ● Perform other assigned tasks by the procurement lead in the limitation of the related responsibilities. ● Effective interaction and cooperation with other departments. ● Keep and develop vendor master files updated by monitoring market trends and market suppliers ● Create and register new eligible suppliers on the system. ● Deliver briefs, updates, and reports as and when required (weekly, monthly, and annually). ● Identify savings opportunities and take action to achieve those. ● Expedite and ensure timely delivery of all products and services. ● Manage suppliers and make sure the best in price and quality are delivered to end users. ● Receive PR and manage the buying process (from A-Z) for a given set of items and services in line with needed specifications, cost, quality, payment terms, and delivery targets. ● Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods. ● Handle multiple commercial and procurement activities simultaneously.
