Job Description

-Preparation of import files, starting from pro forma invoice registration in Ministry of Commerce -Producing, controlling and proofreading of all shipping documents such as packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, invoices, cargo insurance -Managing all required internal processes and documentations to authorize importations, custom clearances, and payments -Responsible for arranging all logistics activities of international shipments in import and export process. -Monitoring and tracking precisely the shipments with forwarders and transport companies to ensure on-time shipments and delivery of goods from origin to destination -Being in contact with the suppliers, shipping lines, representatives and foreign agents for delivery schedule -Checking and calculating the required container volume and demurrage -Receive shipping / border / arrival notice from agents -Arrange payment of freight and controlling all local or foreign charges related to shipments -Make arrangement with sellers/suppliers and resolve any possible issues -Where necessary, liaising with officials in various authorities, ministries or agencies to obtain required permissions, exemptions, letters or any document which is essential for import and custom clearance of related goods -Monitoring custom clearance steps and progresses through EPL system -Full coordination with supply team to ensure on time arrivals and to avoid risk of shortages -In importations, responsible for following from order registration in ministry of commerce, up to level when it is released from customs and received in our warehouse and exports from transport and packaging quotations till arrival to the destination

Requirements

-Bachelor degree preferably in Business with a focus on transportation, logistics, supply chain or a related field -Minimum 3 years of experience customs brokerage, transportation international trade and/or supply chain -Full knowledge in international commercial law & custom clearance procedures and requirements -Fully familiar & capable to handle all formalities of: order registration in MOC and all other import process like insurance & banking affairs -Familiar with basic accounting to manage brokers balance -Excellent communication skills and attention to details -Knowledge of Microsoft office such as Outlook, Excel, Word -Strong analytical and problem solving skills -Positive attitude in teamwork and high integrity -Skilled in time management and respecting the deadlines -Agreed to work long hours when required. -Trustworthy -Ability to work under pressure -Good level of English written and spoken -Ideal Age Range: Minimum 28
