Job Description

● Identify vessels on a daily or weekly basis to start import general manifest process prior to vessel arrival. ● Check or coordinate with the respective port of loading or vessel agents for vessel load list or confirmation. ● Extract the bill of ladings from the system and identify the forwarders or actuals and SOC parties involved. ● Ensure to perform vessel call closure reconciliation, BL lock, file generation, and creation of EPL in the local system. ● Ensure to modify the master bill of lading and house bill of lading as per the requirement of the import general manifest. ● Ensure to compare, verify, and check BL data properly through the local system. ● Coordinate with the respective port of loading or customers in case of any discrepancy or mismatch. ● Update the system with special requests like CFS re-nomination, DPD, SEZ, etc., and ensure to collect LOI for the special requests from the customer. ● Ensure to check e-mails (with internal or external customers) daily basis for better coordination. ● Ensure to generate EDI, and IGM with 100% accuracy within the deadline. ● Ensure to check whether EDI and IGM are filed properly to all our interested parties like customs, VOA, operations, etc

Requirements

● At least 2 years of experience in import documentation department. ● Interested in learning. ● Leadership skills. ● Excellent written and verbal communication. ● Organizational skills. ● Honest, ambitious, and a strong work ethics. ● Fluent in English.
