Job Description

Position: HUB manager Location: Golestan, Iran (with regular travel to field) Duration: 6Months with a possible extension due to availability of funds Report: Project Manager Position summary: PDA is Currently seeking a HUB manager to oversee and manage implementation of capacity development activists. S/he is expected to be in regular contact with the Relief International(RI) the local authorities and public service providers. The Hub manager will ensure that the access to information and services components of the capacity is implemented in line with our partnership commitment to RI. The Hub manager will be expected to travel outside the base location, to monitor project activities, manage community outreach and delivery or project activities Hub manager is expected to be fluent in English and Farsi. Position responsibilities and duties: ● Managing Project Implementation (70%). ● Liaise Between PDA and RI Capacity Development program team. ● Manage coordination between PDA and RI Capacity Building program team and service providers, including- BAFIA, Kefalat center, education providers (Both formal and informal including, TVTO, LMO), Health center/ MOH. ● Manage coordination with community volunteer focal point, local authorities, and public agency representative to organize roundtable meetings, awareness-raising events. ● Manage and monitor their activities of community service hubs and training centers in Golestan province. ● Provide training to staff responsible for providing information and counseling service in hobs. ● Provide be weekly progress reports to RI. ● Provide monthly financial reports to or are RI. ● Prepare and present RI, PDA activities during donor visits. ● Identify and flag community needs. ● Identify and introduce Afghan focal points and other beneficiaries for training in awareness-raising, protection monitoring cases for referral to the relevant service provider, including NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, and government agencies. Generic duties: ● Monitoring and evaluation: (30%). ● Oversee and manage documentation of significant change in stories, project lessons learned and best practices. ● Supervise coordination with RI MEL team for collecting required data for providing reports. ● Technically review the project data and its quality on a regular basis. ● In collaboration with RI’s Capacity Development team, monitor impacts of awareness raising activities targeting service providers/local authorities. ● Conduct monitoring visits to project location; develop field visit report and action plans and following up on any actions.

Requirements

● University qualifications: University graduate in Law, Management, Social Science, social works, international development or relevant fields. ● Other certifications obtained: SWO, RAFIA, MOE, MOH, IRCS. ● Nature and length of previous experience: At least 2 year-experience working with national NGOs and international NGOs and refugee communities and knowledge of Result Based Management. ● Specialist knowledge: NGO management. ● Soft skills and personality traits: Experience working with SWO, RAFIA, MOE, MOH and other concerned ministries. ● Proven communication, interpersonal, representation negotiation and promotion skills. ● Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise effectively in a team especially in stressful environments.
