Managing HSE staff, procedures, and requirements in EPC Projects. List of responsibilities: ● Planning, Organizing, Controlling, Managing, and making decisions in relation to the project's HSE processes and activities in accordance with legal, Contracts, and other requirements. ● Managing, controlling, and ensuring compatibility of the organization's/project's HSE policies and objectives in the project. ● Cooperating in preparing/reviewing/approving project’s HSE procedures, work instructions, and other needed documents, based on latest legal and other requirements. ● Implementing HSE procedures in projects based on legal requirements. ● Performing periodical monitoring, inspections, and audit in projects, Warning/Stopping project activities in case of any critical hazard. ● Monitoring Hazard identification and Risk Assessment. ● Monitoring and preparing HSE plans, actions, and reports. ● Monitoring/preparing corrective and reactive actions for the project's HSE nonconformities. ● Handling Client's/Stakeholder's HSE requirements and satisfaction in projects. ● Assessing Training needs and measuring the effectiveness of HSE training. ● Managing the recruitment and training of HSE supervisors and officers. ● Reporting to: Project Manager. Subordinates: Project HSE Supervisor and Officer.
Requirements
● Gender: Male. ● Age range: 30 to 70 years old. ● Minimum Bachelor's degree (HSE). ● Other certifications obtained: National Certificates of HSE Competency. ● Nature and length of previous experience: at least 10 years of work experience in HSE. Specialist knowledge: ● Familiar with Industrial, Oil and Gas, construction, and EPC Projects. ● Proficiency in Labor Law, HSE Laws, and regulations, and Iran National Building Regulations, requirements and HSE-MS, ISO45001, ISO14001 Audits. ● Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and controlling HSE risks, risk assessment techniques (FMEA), and HSE accident analysis. ● Proficiency in safety, fire and health requirements in NPC petrochemical industry and NFPA standard. ● Proficiency in emergency response management, rescue activities personal protective equipment (P.P.E) and site safety signs, Occupational Exposure limit, and MSDS/SDS. ● Having effective negotiation skills. ● Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Soft skills and personality traits: ● Having leadership and charismatic personality. ● Ability to manage high workload, stressful working conditions, and critical situations ● Having appropriate communication and public relations skills. ● Ability to participate in construction site activities and project missions outside the city. ● Ability to lead teamwork.
