Job Description

This role is based in our Beverage Manufacturing Factory in Kaveh Industrial City in Saveh. Health, safety and environmental Manager’s responsibilities are to establish and implement HSE Management System in line with local and global requirements and corporate standards. The job holder is responsible for developing and implementing organizational safety programs in our factory based in Saveh. HSE Manager reviews and updates HSE policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures. Key Accountabilities: • Being pro-active on incident prevention methods and accidents root cause analysis, • Evaluate the workplace environment and develop safety-management policies that identify and define the safety responsibilities of all employees. Assess the nature of business activities, number of employees and existing policies, • Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the organization, • Identify opportunities for continuous environmental improvement and implement programs to deliver them, • Prepare monthly and weekly reports. A typical HSE report indicates day-to-day workplace inspection results and workers' response to safety incidents, • Prepare HSE departmental annual budget requirements with necessary justifications in accordance with the Business Plan/Budget guidelines. Prepare and analyses the budget reports, review cost allocation, compare actual costs against budget, and make appropriate comments to the concerned teams for over/under Budget Expenditure, • Act and lead properly in emergency situations and run different emergency maneuvers, ensure an effective team is in place to handle different HSE emergency situation in factory, • Manage the HSE team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor degree in Environmental Health or Industrial Engineering, • Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environment in multi-National companies, • Up to date global HSE knowledge, • Knowledge in the beverage industry in an advantage, • An in-depth understanding of HSE regulations, • Ability to interpret HSE related legislation, • Risk management & assessment, • Good knowledge of English, • Computer proficiency, • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, • The ability to interact with people at all levels within/external to the Organization, • Excellent training & development skill, • Ability to work under pressure, • Attention to details, • Embracing and Driving Change.
