Job Description

- Prepare and process purchase orders for supplies and full liaison with commercial authorities. - Fully accountable for accurate inventory levels by exact demand forecast and supply plans that ensure availability of products. - Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities. - Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service. - Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product or ordering costs. - Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, and finance. - Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in purchasing, distribution, and supplies. - Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, or customer issues. - Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as order management and accounting. - Manages warehouse inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as receipt, storage, transportation, and safety performance. - Implements safety, security, and housekeeping programs - Hires, supervises, schedules, and trains personnel - Supervise the work of logistics specialists
