Job Description
• Plans, organizes, and manages all Demand Planning activities including S&OP, MRP and finished goods procurement.
• Communication of forecast and related production plans with suppliers, with that guarantee optimal stock levels and minimum write offs
• Works closely with Sales team to understand, quantify, and fulfill customer/market specific requirements.
• Provide market demands by production planning and avoid stopping the production line with inventory management and customer service level (CSL).
• Use the commercial forecast as a baseline to develop an operational forecast by incorporating business intelligence and demand forecast information gathered from historical sales, predictive analytics and a consensus building process with the market and/or demand source.
• Lead execution of a business process to translate annual sales plan that can be used to drive supply chain activity for existing and new products.
• Liaise with key internal stakeholders including sales, warehouse and quality teams to minimize disruption caused by stock outs, obsolete stock or delayed deliveries.
• Conducting meetings with Industrial department to ensure acceptable amounts of inventory for raw materials and turning the program into a daily production schedule.
• Manage Demand Planning that will deliver an operational forecast by market/type and SKU that will be used for supply planning purposes.
