Job Description
Responsibilities: - Effective communication with purchase team, governmental entities (MOH, MOI, customs) and foreign suppliers - Preparing/Checking all necessary documentation for custom affairs and commercial registration procedures. - Responsible for getting all required governmental and non-governmental approvals and licenses for importation process and monitoring applicable laws and regulations -Controlling all the shipping process and following up the goods delivery. - Interfaces with the Procurement Manager to plan and prioritize purchasing activities: - Reviews planned orders, creates requisitions for purchased items, and manages approval process - Negotiation with suppliers, strategic sourcing to reach and cost saving targets - Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports - Reviews, updates, and maintains purchase orders until they are closed - Ensures orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts
Requirements
Requirements: - University degree in Engineering, Management or other related fields - Minimum 4 years of experience in foreign purchasing (Import and purchasing spare parts of production line and raw material) - Sufficient background in logistics, insurance and custom clearance procedures - Knowledge of INCOTERMS & relevant terminologies - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Excellent command in English
