Job Description

Main Objective: ● As a member of commercial team, the Foreign Commercial Supervisor is accountable for managing commercial tasks. ● Sourcing, choosing and negotiating for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, delivery and services with new suppliers. ● Responsible to set, monitor and follow up commercial activities and affairs such as sourcing, corresponding, negotiating, ordering and all other import process formalities. ● Responsible to perform all foreign commercial process such as correspondence, negotiation, ordering and documentation. ● Responsible to follow up transportation of orders. ● Experienced in international business negotiations, contracts and etc., Preparing purchase orders and reviewing requisitions for goods. ● Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the suppliers reputation and history. ● Ensure that purchased goods and services are delivered on time and as per the agreement. ● Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services. ● Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures. ● The Commercial Supervisor will be in close contact with the ministry of health and the ministry of commerce officials, foreign customers and partners, banks, customs, etc. ● This position may need to lead a group of commercial experts and admins and will report to commercial manager with the necessary analysis at the end of each week. Main responsibilities: ● Preparing and keeping track of commercial plans/projects. ● Monitoring relevant parts of SCM. ● Commercial correspondences with relevant Suppliers and partners. ● Sourcing. ● Analyzing price proposals and performing price negotiations. ● Managing purchase orders and follow ups. ● Banking affairs, currency allocation & money transfer. ● Scheduling Shipping. ● Close relationship with internal departments (regulatory, manufacturing, finance, sales & marketing, logistics). ● Receiving and analyzing import statistics and information, studying the causes of its ascending and descending fluctuations and taking appropriate action.

Requirements

● B.Sc., B.E., M.Sc., M.E. and MBA . ● At least 8 years of experience in the commercial field and preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. ● Excellent fluency in English in all skills. ● Proficient in the principles and techniques of negotiation, international correspondence and import/export processes, contracts. ● Fluent in principles of international commercial activities. ● Strong connections in MOH. ● Excellent communication and negotiation skills. ● Good presentation skills. ● Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and deadlines. ● Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). ● Ability to make decisions in crucial situations. ● Comprehensive knowledge of foreign procurement processes, sourcing, correspondence, negotiating, ordering, contracting, custom releasing and etc. ● Good Knowledge of commercial and international business terms and regulations and import procedure and regulations. ● Familiar with customs laws, banking, legal requirements and trade instructions. ● Computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office. ● Ability to create reports and documents for procedures and tasks. ● Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. ● Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. ● Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects. ● Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. ● Highly versatile and responsible. ● Self-motivated& self-organized. ● Target-oriented. ● Highly versatile, responsible and analytical with ability to synthesizes complex or diverse information. ● Experienced in international business negotiation.
