Job Description
Foreign procurement and commercial procedures and regulations, especially command of:
● Import/export and shipping, banking (currency allocations), insurance and inspection (of shipments), corresponding with international suppliers, in-person follow-up of all matters in relevant ministries, central bank.
● Be up-to-date about current regulations and monitor applicable law changes for better dealing with customs, road, sea, and air transportation, document, and INCOTERMs.
● Sourcing qualified suppliers and providing a database of manufacturers and suppliers and establishing an effective partnership with manufacturers, research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
● Planning, managing, and Improving all foreign commercial affairs such as sourcing, supplier selecting, negotiating, contracting, ordering and etc.
● Analyzing price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
● Corresponding with foreign companies (purchasing, negotiating, contracting).
