Job Description
-Conduct timely and efficient trade execution across cash bond markets (securitized, corporate, and municipal), derivatives (options, futures and CDS) -Portfolio monitoring – track portfolios for proper structure, sector weightings and duration -Continually seek feedback regarding competitor activity and related market information -Communicate market-related information -Communicate trading opportunities to other members of the fixed income team to align opportunities in the market with portfolio needs -Work with sector specialists to structure trades that target desired yield profile, sector allocation and issuer-level risk exposure -Monitor credit, liquidity and market risks for risk management and balance sheet valuation exercises -Generating trade ideas
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Accounting, or related field preferred. -Minimum 3 years of trading in capital market -Must be organized and flexible with attention to details -Strong MicroSoft Office skills required -Ability to handle fast-paced and deadline-driven environment -Knowledge of trading regulations and requirements -Team-oriented: work hand in hand with salespeople, traders and clients -Resilient: Markets can be extremely challenging, must be able to handle the volatility as well as the wins and losses with an even hand
