Job Description

This position will be based in one of the subsidiaries of Marina group which is operating in the retail industry. ● Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures. ● Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances ● Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. ● Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained. ● Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken ● Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances. ● Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. ● Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy. ● Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. ● In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and industry legislation. ● Analytical skills. ● Attention to detail. ● Interpersonal skills. ● Negotiation skills. ● Proficient user of finance software.
