Job Description

Responsible for the financial health of a company. Producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research. Guiding senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short term Financial Manager Responsibilities: • Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts. • Make sure financial legal requirements are met. • Developing financial reporting systems. • Find ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business process. • Analyze market trends to discover business opportunities and maximize profits. • Aid management in financial decisions. • Maintain up to date financial system knowledge.

Requirements

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA preferred) • 5+ years’ experience in a financial management position • Proven strategic planning experience at the management level. • Fluent in accounting standards and software and preparing financial statements • insurance and tax laws and other accounting and financial rules • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
