Job Description

Finance International Sourcing Manager will develop company sourcing mission and strategy for the international market. This position will analyze market data to understand industry competition in multiple source origins at any given time. Analyze data, supplier information, and other details for our commodity. Contribute to the development of our international sourcing vision and grower/supplier relationship management activities. -Identify suppliers who can deliver quality and timely products while insuring multiple sources for key products -Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies -Analyze and calculate costs of international procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure -Evaluate agreements/partnerships and establish international supply as needed -Negotiate and enforce agreements with suppliers and growers -Support appropriate relationships with suppliers to maximize value to the business -Consistently evaluate the regions for produce supply internationally with idea to provide best in service and quality -Ensure that the shipping route is safe and all details regarding shipment such as custom clearance, insurance and etc. have been taken care of -Notifying Suppliers on short-shipped, over supplied and faulty items received and taking the necessary action -Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques -Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers -Lead the sourcing process working with global business partners, ensure use of best practices in strategic sourcing, including: analyzing spend data and quantifying cost impact; negotiating pricing, term and other key aspects of the supply relationship; gaining access to open book cost visibility; establishing targets for supplier performance; driving continuous improvement with supplier involvement; resolving product and supply chain quality issues; and assuring creation of business continuity and contingency plans -Coordinate cross-functional efforts to qualify new suppliers, including managing the supplier relationships throughout the process. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to recommend best option after reviewing supplier information, calculate cost benefits to markets, and shepherd final product approval process in conjunction with R&D -Making sure of safe and reliable system of transferring money and making payments overseas -know how to exchange houses transfers to international destinations and be aware about banking transfers
