Our Local Manufacturing site in Tehran is undergoing a successful ramp-up from project to operation. To further fuel this, we are looking for a talented and skilled finance controller with a proven track record in finance who is just as eager as we are to break new ground. About the department: You will be part of the business support team of Local Manufacturing Tehran (LMT), a production site within the Local Manufacturing network, and a CVP area in Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Devices, and Sustainability (CSDS). Our production processes are the assembly and packing of diabetes care products for the local market, and we are in a steep ramp-up to meet market demand. This is a great opportunity for you who would like to develop your skills in an international setting and play an important role in connecting with stakeholders internally at the site, working with the sales affiliate functions as well as stakeholders across the CVP and SVP area. The position: As a finance controller, you will be responsible for establishing a uniform approach to financial production compliance across the LMT network and ensuring best practices are shared by the oversight of financial accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting. Some of your key tasks will be to: ● Be a part of the financial compliance efforts across LMT including central management and sites in operational phases. Establish and maintain a strong internal controls environment (ICQ, etc.) for production-related controls and derived controls in collaboration with sales affiliates for financial and procurement processes across sites. Work with program and project teams to ensure sufficient competencies are in place to operate internal controls and mitigate identified risks. ● Work with accurate financial accounting across the LMT management team in collaboration with affiliate finance in compliance with international financial reporting standards and the Novo Nordisk accounting manual. ● Planning (AB/RE/RE2/MTP/LTP): consolidate data, budget discussion with departments, prepare a submission, define allocation keys, and ensure correct budget costing. ● Evaluate and develop skills and behavior while effectively managing the team through consistent feedback and recognition. ● Guide employees on best practice processes and internal controls; and implementation thereof. ● Identify competence gaps and develop/provide training to site personnel where needed. ● Manage the month-end and year-end financial closing process ensuring accurate reflection of LMT activities in the accounting. ● Maintain effective and on-time internal accounting processes and transactions, including, receivables/payables, fixed assets, month-end and year-end period closing, billing, and other routine accounting functions.
