Job Description

The objective of the Role: The Finance Business Partner - in our organization called Finance Ecosystem Excellence Partner [EEP] - will leverage his/her broad expertise on the E2E Finance operations to create business value through the simplification, automation, and centralization of our processes and systems. This role will collaborate closely with internal partners and external stakeholders in the ecosystem and above country network, gaining a deep understanding of their needs to transform the customer experience through tailored, streamlined, and seamless financial processes and services. List of Responsibilities: The Finance Business Partner will be a member of Roche Pars Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain (FPS) organization and will report directly to the Head of Finance. In the short-term: Will be primarily responsible for ensuring business continuity of the current Finance operations, including but not limited to financial reporting, accounting, accounts payable, audit/compliance, treasury, and tax operations. In the mid and long-term: ● Responsible for implementing and ensuring a smooth transition to the New/Agile Ways of Working across the FPS organization. ● Responsible for simplifying, automating, and centralizing (e.g. SSC) our existing processes and systems in the short, mid and long term. ● Being the guardian and key driver of our Group Finance and Local FPS Ambitions. Finance Business Partner role will also be expected to: ● Work closely and ad-hoc support Procurement and Supply Chain operations, including but not limited to vendor selection, up/downstream procurement & I2P activities, demand and inventory management, and other operation SC activities. ● Provide support to Strategic Insights Partner (SIP). ● Act as a system thinker by overseeing the E2E business operating model, with the ability to identify shared purpose among stakeholders and leverages this to co-create solutions with stakeholders in the ecosystem. ● Act as a partner to the SSCs, ensuring a smooth RAMP transition and long-term sustainability of our operations. ● Act as the Primary Point of Contact for Project/Global Processes and Systems Roll-out.

Requirements

Qualifications: ● University degree (Science, Economics, Accounting, or Business degree). ● ACCA, CPA, MBA, or an advanced degree in Life Sciences is a plus. ● Proficient in English to collaborate internally and across the broader Roche enterprise. Nature & Length of Previous Experience: ● Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance/Audit. ● Any experience in procurement AND/OR Supply Chain and Logistics Operations is a plus. Specialist Knowledge: ● Strong E2E business process area understanding and deep process knowledge as well as technical expertise for his/her dedicated area. ● Strong technical competencies in SAP S4 HANA FI/CO, Material Ledger, MM, PP. ● Proven experience working in a BPM organization, any methodological skills such as PMP, Six Sigma (DMAIC), agile ways of working (Scrum), continuous. improvement is a plus. ● Practical understanding of digital innovation methodologies.
