Job Description

Task and responsibilities description: - Duty description of the electric engineer is to full fill all duties as an electrical engineer in the management contractor (but not limited to it) such as below. - Preparation and revise or review and check of all technical documents in different design phases of project including: Feasibility study, Basic design and detail design. - Coordination in preparation of tender documents. - Attending the periodic and extraordinary meeting related to project. - Preparing tender documents. - Evaluation of tender offers. - Checking vendor documents and preparing different required reports. - Preparation of MTO & MR for different equipment. - Participation in technical inspections. - Presentation of required reports to head discipline. - Registration of history and relevant documents based on the company procedure. - Comply with the requirements of quality management system

Requirements

- Education: Master/ Bachelor - Work experience: at least 7 years (4 years related)/ 10 years (6 years related) - Required skills: - Familiar with the basics of different types of contracting. - English language skills. - Familiar and fluent in the basics of designing electrical networks and electrical equipment. - Acceptable knowledge about relevant standards such as IEC and latest local regulation regarding demand requirements, execution of power transmission lines. - Computer skills of general software such as Office, Excel, Auto-cad and specialized software such as Etap… - Familiar and fluent in the basics of designing of different types of HV Substation. - Design of SLD, Protection & Metering SLD for power substations. - Design of Logic Diagrams (Inter lock & Trip) for power substations. - Design of Layout & Section for power substations. - Design of Clamp and bus bar layout and section for power substations. - Lighting, Earthing & Lightning, Cable, Bus Bar Calculation for power substations. - Different equipment sizing and calculation such as AC & DC UPS, Battery, Diesel Generator, Power transformer, CT, CVT/PT… - Familiar and fluent with the different basics of designing power transmission lines. - Conductor, grad wire, earthing, insulators, clamps and fitting… calculations. - Familiar and fluent in the different basics of choosing optimum Span, type of tower, route…with full consideration of technical and economic issues. - Fluent and familiar with issues related to the execution of power transmission lines.
