Job Description

Power • Design power system facilities and equipment and coordinate construction, operation, and maintenance of electric power generating, receiving, and distribution stations, transmission lines, distribution systems and substations. • Design and plan layout of generating plants, transmission and distribution lines, and receiving and distribution stations. • Direct preparation of drawings and specific type of equipment and materials to be used, in construction and equipment installation. • Estimate labor, material, construction, and equipment costs. • Inspect completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards. • Observe operation of installation for conformance with operational standards. • Coordinate operation and maintenance activities to ensure optimum utilization of power system facilities and meet customer demands for electrical energy. Communication Design safety and security systems like fire alarm, intercom, telephone, network, CCTV, access control, paging, etc. Design RTU and PLC based communication systems in high voltage power substations according to TAVANIR standards. Design DCS system configuration of high voltage power substations according to TAVANIR standards. Coordinate the construction, operation, and maintenance communication systems.
