About the department: You will be a part of the Environment, Health & Safety department at NN-LMT (Which is Novo Nordisk's local manufacturing site, located in Kordan, Karaj) with more than 135 highly engaged, experienced, and qualified professionals, supporters, technicians, and operators who work diligently together to serve our patients every day by delivering highest quality products with excellence. The EHS team is a part of the PM and Support department working directly with the site director and is responsible to manage all relevant Environmental, health, and safety activities. As a team, we aim to reach Zero environmental aspect in all our operations, and also within suppliers cooperating with the local plant, improve the level of employee health so that no one is suffering from both condition and mental well-being, and also create an environment where employees believe on the possibility of reaching to zero accident workplace. About the position: As an Environment, Health & Safety Partner you will have the following responsibilities: ● You set directions and deliver results that significantly impact the business area. ● You influence the ability and opportunity for NN-LMT to reach the long-term goals on environment, health, and safety and communicate progress and status via the EHS report including critical analysis and reporting with relevant frequency. ● You identify better practices and create improvements in methods, techniques, approaches, etc. together with EHS representatives, and mgmt. team and stakeholders across NN-LMT, incl. acting as EHS subject matter experts for projects within the LMT plant, Investment Portfolio Group, and Utility and Facility team. Via your process responsibilities, you will also support follow-ups with selected suppliers in implementing environmental initiatives toward zero impact. ● You are a champion for Environmental initiatives which is called “Circular for Zero”. ● You plan for creating a Zero-Accident mindset among all employees, visitors, and contractors and to ensure all employees are physically and mentally fit. ● You ensure compliance with all local and international requirements by creating a good relationship with all relevant authorities and support on legal monitoring and compliance. ● You provide guidance for the LMT departments and EHS representatives in standards, priorities, and procedures as well as contribute on the shop floor e.g. with practical solutions. ● You collect data with the support of an EHS representative, analyze the data on a regular basis, and report on required platforms.
