Job Description

An ecosystem enabler plays a crucial role in pioneering life-changing healthcare for every Iranian. The ecosystem enabler builds up-to-date knowledge and surveys future trends related to an ecosystem. Ecosystem enablers co-create strategies across the organisation, contributing to the existing knowledge and subject-matter expertise. An ecosystem enablers coach, develop and support PPOCs to achieve their potential in their area of expertise while building additional personal and professional skills to lift the performance of the group as a whole. Through the development of PPOCs, the ecosystem enabler maintains a ready pool of talent to be drawn upon to deliver on Roche Pars' short and long-term priorities. An ecosystem enabler demonstrates creative leadership competencies and plays the roles of visionary, architect, catalyst and coach; developing and empowering Roche employees to innovate, collaborate, be authentic and own their impact. The ecosystem enabler is instrumental in contributing to the success of the PPoCs team. The ecosystem enabler articulates, and inspires others with, a compelling vision that fosters alignment at all levels of the organisation; the ecosystem enabler is a key enabler of purposeful alignment of the PPoC team with other Roche Pars functions and subject matter experts. The ecosystem enabler provides strategic direction that helps to balance the external ecosystem needs with the overall priorities and licence-to-operate requirements of Roche Pars, both in terms of appropriately bringing the outside in and in terms of prioritised, shared value, work packages in response to individual ecosystem needs. They will ensure the appropriate and ongoing training of the PPoC team and hold them accountable for the governance standards and expected behaviours required to navigate our complex regulatory environment, as well as the skills, capabilities, mindsets and behaviours needed now - and anticipated for the future - to realise the potential of the PPoC approach and create a differentiated industry customer engagement approach focussed on bringing value to the healthcare ecosystem. The ecosystem enabler will define the ways of working and measures of success for this new and differentiated customer engagement model and will draw on insights to iterate as required to ensure continued value creation for patients, our partners and Roche. Role and responsibilities: ● Establishes, enables and develops the PPoC team, creating a psychologically safe 'home' and learning environment. ● Inspires with a compelling vision that brings to life the philosophy of the PPoC approach and connection to the wider organisation and network. ● Coaches the shared catalyst team to enable their continued development in the Catalyst role as well as to support the overall vision for capacity building across the PPoC team. ● Works closely with other functions, associates and ET of Roche Pars to create a smooth PPoC interface and ways. of working within the affiliate and wider network; holds individuals accountable for working within the agreed system. ● Defines, establishes and models the required standards and measures of success within and for the PPoCs. ● Builds and improves the collective capability of the PPoC team, addressing the needs in the now and the future. ● Advocates for the power of the network to contribute to and benefit from the internal and external collective. capability and experience needed to accelerate the adoption and success of the new engagement model, iterating the approach through the above country network establishment in future horizons. ● Drives and models enterprise thinking and prioritisation in line with the ecosystem, affiliate outcomes and network opportunities. ● Enables the team to seek advice, empowers the team to make appropriate decisions within their ecosystem, and models this behaviour within the work they do. ● Ensures there is a connected and seamless execution of ecosystem and national outcomes. ● Encourages and applauds the PPoCs to have a curious and enterprise mindset. ● Builds and fosters a diverse and inclusive team. ● Co-creates and models standards and expectations within the ecosystem and across the functions. ● Works constructively with Roche Pars Enablers to advise on decisions in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to deliver organisational priorities. ● Coaches PPoCs to develop technical skills and expertise as well as interpersonal skills including effective. communication, adaptability, and collaboration. ● Enables and models PPoCs to adopt agile ways of working, including collaboration, self-reflection, test and learn, iteration, customer-centred design and empowered decision-making. ● Enables a culture of psychological safety, open and transparent communication and constructive feedback. through courageous conversations and impact retrospectives. ● Manages individual PPoCs performance as required. ● Prioritises and creates time for own upskilling in order to best enable the PPoCs now and in the future. ● Builds a pipeline of talent (internal and external) to match career and capability needs. ● Proactively builds network connections and partnerships to learn from other PPoCs enabling teams and contributing to Roche's learning loop.

Supports our people to operate in a digital world. Skills and experience: ● Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry. Previous pharmaceutical customer-facing experience preferred. ● Significant previous direct people leadership experience, including leading commercial or medical field-based roles in the pharmaceutical or related industry ● Deep understanding of the complex pharmaceutical industry regulations. environment, legal requirements, governance, and accountability standards with experience training their teams and holding them collectively accountable to agreed standards. ● Advanced degree in medical science, business, or related fields. ● Appropriate job-related experience and expertise commensurate with the expectations of the role. ● Proficiency in planning and managing resources to deliver objectives. ● Experienced integrating digital into overall customer engagement interaction. ● Competent English verbal and written skills. ● Knowledge of relevant codes of conduct, standards, and guidelines. Preferred qualifications: ● University degree (Scientific, Economics, or Business). An advanced degree in Life Science and/or an MBA is a plus. ● Practical understanding of digital innovation methodologies ● CCXA academy (desired).
