Job Description
-Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers and finds new suppliers -Creates and maintains Purchase Orders -Ensures their orders are acknowledged correctly, and that any notes of delays, backorders, and other relevant information are present and complete -Reviews purchased item quantities on PO’s vs actual demand from Production Plan -Facilitates claims, secures replacements as needed, and amends PO’s accordingly -Uses their expertise to continuously evaluate and make recommendations to improve procedures, reporting, costing and efficiencies
Requirements
-At least 1 year of proven experience as a purchasing agent or relevant role -Knowledge of purchasing best practices, working knowledge of purchasing software -Strong Excel skills -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Strong analytical mindset -Outstanding organizational skills -Flexible and adaptable to new systems -Ideal Age Range: 25 - 30 -Gender Preference: Male
