Job Description
Key Accountabilities: • Responsible for driving performance and sales promotion of Novo Nordisk products in Iran • Responsible for representing Novo Nordisk vision, values and commitments in daily contacts with customers • Responsible for developing the team, coaching & motivating the Medical Reps • Responsible for building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including follow up on KOL’s (Key opinion leaders) Main Responsibilities: • Selling and promoting products in collaboration with Sales & Marketing Managers, Product Managers and the Medical Representatives to reach the sales targets • Developing and coaching the team/employees, based on performance needs and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) • Responsible for developing annual account plans for all A and B customers, group account plan for rest of targeted customers and overall territory plan • Consolidate the time reports done by Medical Representatives in own region and provide appropriate feedback on reports • Define and regularly follow up on KPI’s for Medical Representatives • Plan and implement activities and participate in local meetings and congresses, as needed • Update product knowledge on promotional materials and articles to ensure the highest standard of sales representation • Submit all required reporting and documentation (e.g., call reports, activity reports, coverage reports and market reports) on time and within quality • Report customer complaints and adverse events according to Novo Nordisk procedures • Ensure team and employee compliance with company values, processes and procedures Competency profiles • Role model of Novo Nordisk values • Drives continuous improvement and seeks new innovative solutions • Strong market and business understanding • Sets direction and strategy • Building teams, delegating and empowering others • Recognizes and motivates others • Building trusting relationships across functions • Drive outcomes, and hold self and others accountable • Accelerate development through coaching and feedback • Seek understanding of self and others • Demonstrate agility and adapt quickly to changes • Keep things simple and eliminate unnecessary complexity • Patient and customer-focused
Requirements
Qualifications : University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or similar Minimum three years of experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry Previous leadership experience would be an asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence others
