Apply now and be part of life-changing careers at Novo Nordisk. About the department: The P&O department is a strategic business partner to all functions across the affiliate. It oversees and supports the full employee lifecycle management. The department consists of a diverse team of P&O Business Partners, P&O & EHS Professionals, and Administration. The position As a Director- P&O, you will be responsible for: ● Drive direction of the HR function in the affiliate based on HR strategy from Global P&O organization, as well as by analyzing and prioritizing the affiliate’s needs. ● Whilst being an important sparring partner to the GM and management team of the affiliate and counseling on people issues, organizational structure, and agility, and cultural transformation. ● Exhibition of strong emotional intelligence and a very value-centric approach. ● Stand up for the needs of the business and adapt in times of a changing business model. ● Drive change in the affiliate, by informing and convincing the affiliate management team of required changes and agreeing on responsibility for the practical implementation of these changes. ● Secure flawless execution (directly and/or through direct reports) of all HR and communication processes and tools in the affiliate. ● Oversee office administration and facility management related to reception, workspace maintenance, company cars, canteen, stationeries, etc. ● Lead P&O Team and manage and developed direct reporters. ● Lead, evaluate and develop leaders in the organization to take accountability and ensure HR strategies are implemented effectively and ensure the regional alignment to the direction from Global. ● As part of the affiliate management team, contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the country level. ● Represent affiliates at the regional and global level at relevant functional forums. ● Compliance with Novo Nordisk principles and internal legal laws and defend company interests. Nevertheless, as a requirement of business ethics; to defend the confidentiality of the company as well as the patients’ secrets, business plans, ideas, and strategies against third parties. Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Sociology, or Organizational Development. ● 8 to 10 years of work experience in a global/MNC environment with strong HR management skills and P&O practices. ● Visionary and dedicated to ensuring the fitness of our P&O operating model. ● Strong and influencing leadership mindset. ● Expertise in change management and culture orientation. ● Strong desire to drive change and confidence in dealing with ambiguity. ● Solid collaborative leadership style and enjoy being a coach and facilitator to others.
