Job Description

SHOOKA as an enterprise corporate meeting service provider is seeking for DevOps Engineer, with main responsibility of administration of Linux Servers and DevOps engineering. This person will be a technical point of contact for development teams helping to plan, debug, and oversee ongoing operations of business critical applications. He will be responsible for operations related within the Docker/Kubernetes clusters as well as creation, maintenance and troubleshooting of build pipelines in our Jenkins environment. The DevOps Engineer should be passionate about streamlining operations work by viewing infrastructure as code and treating operations as if it’s a software problem. Reporting to: Data Center Manager. Working hours: 8am-5pm.

Requirements

University Qualifications: BS or MS in computer engineering. Nature and length of previous experience: minimum 3 years of experience. Other certifications obtained LPICs, Red Hat Certified Engineer. Soft Skills and Personality traits: Team working, knowledge sharing, documentation. Needed skills: • Senior Linux system administration • CentOS (Troubleshooting, Health monitoring, Hardening, Clustering, Load Balancing) • Familiar with WebRTC • Experience with Web Application Servers (Apache Tomcat). • Experience with one or more configuration management tools (ex. Ansible, Chef) • Docker experience (Custom Docker builds, networking, storage strategies) • Knowledge of CI/CD methodology and workflows. • Experience with automation toolsets such as Jenkins or Teamcity • Scripting experience (Bash, Python, Ruby) • Knowledge of automated Java build systems (Ant, Maven, Gradle) • Experience with Source Control Systems (GIT, CVS, SVN)
