Job Description

- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist. - On anterior cases, establish and mark the midline on the models and mark the inter proximal guidelines for over jet, overbite or incision length if any - Clean abutments on bridges of any loose porcelain dust - Mark contact areas of unprepared teeth and the tissue bearing surfaces on bridges. - Contour contacts on single crowns or abutment teeth on bridges, tissue-bearing surfaces of bridges - Check contoured surfaces to be sure they are smooth - Check occlusion and contour to achieve centric on anterior and posteriors - Contour inter proximal of anterior and/or posteriors using the correct steps and tools - Contour concavities on anterior using correct steps and tools
