Job Description

• To manage MTN Irancell Datacentres and Outsourcing Infrastructure partners in assigned regions, ensuring that adequate capacity, systems availability and DC standards are in place To manage provision of future system capacity and any DC expansions in the assigned regions using Infrastructure Architectural designs. • To manage operation of DC Facilities and Services including HW, OS and Databases. • To ensure stable infrastructure platforms in assigned regions and oversee Infrastructure projects. • To manage the operation and the service level agreements with MTNIrancell Network group for the provision of Network services in the regions. • To ensure a stable operating environment in terms of Data Centre services and facilities in assigned MTNIrancell regions • To manage the MTNIrancell IT Infrastructure projects portfolio in the area of assigned regions. • To remain fully aligned with the core DC operation and strategies under the supervision of Datacentre and Infrastructure Operation Management. • To oversee and monitor DC infrastructure CAPEX (for maintenance) and prepare business cases for DC requirements in the assigned region. • To work closely with the Network Group IP team to ensure Infrastructure stability and network capacity in the regions. • To ensure all activities and operations in Data centres including new installations, changes, expansion and etc. are aligned with MTN Irancell Policies and Procedure such as cabling policy, Facilities and NWG requirements and etc. • To implement strategies to ensure technical direction of Data Centre to gain and support competitive advantage for MTN Irancell through the Data Centre infrastructure. • To monitor and adopt best practices and new technologies, ensuring alignment with Information Systems data centre strategy • To develop and ensure maintenance of information systems technical support infrastructure for the business. • To liaise with business teams in the assigned regions to fulfil Business requirements in the area of Infrastructure. • To manage post implementation review of live systems where Infrastructure playing a role to ensure proper operation of services.
