Job Description

Job purpose: The respected person is responsible for leading the customs clearance team to do all required formalities in various organizations to release any type of imported material from customs. Handling all difficulties with customs to decrease the customs clearance period. Job description: ● Manage duty exceptions or apply for duty refund for some specific items which cannot be produced by local industry suppliers. ● Timely clearance in the shortest time. ● Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the customs clearance affairs section activity is carried out in an efficient manner. ● Supervise the day-to-day operations of customs clearance affairs to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures. ● Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet Savola and department requirements, policies, and standards. ● Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking into account “international best practice”, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
