Job Description

- Owning, deep diving for data to support a recommendation, and driving resolution for a supply chain/logistics projects - Collaborating with client and internal stakeholders to identify and secure relevant data for analysis - Interpreting and classifying complex supply chain data in order to understand clients’ historic and current services, specifications, and costs - Analyzing data, evaluating costs, and providing analysis throughout the solutions and transition phases of client engagements - Preparing reports of findings for presentations to client and internal stakeholders. - Utilizing savings models and building scenarios in support of solution development. - Refining data management systems and reporting processes to deliver accurate and quality insights for ongoing decision-making. - Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic distribution, and transportation management. - Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, back orders, or delivery processes. - Prepare reports on Supply Chain/logistics performance measures. - Confer with Supply Chain management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost. - Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes. - Review procedures, such as distribution or inventory management, to ensure maximum efficiency or minimum cost. - Apply analytic methods or tools to understand, predict, or control logistics operations or processes. - Develop or maintain freight rate databases for use by supply chain departments to determine the most economical modes of transportation. - Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, order fulfillment rates, or inventory turns. - Monitor or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes. - End to end project/portfolio management of new capabilities - Identify and evaluate third party service providers who can supplement the capacity - Interface with key external providers of processes, methodologies and tools for new developments - Develop and maintain best practice methodologies, tools and databases. - Capture best practice knowledge of CS supply chain processes, methodologies and tools. - Driven by business needs, adopt new capabilities, methodologies and tools: externally scan for new capabilities, methodologies and tools. - Develop/update training material, with case studies, to support existing and new processes and tools. - Monitor performance within CS through our CS KPI's & external bench-marking.

Requirements

- Bachelor or master degree in Industrial Engineering/Industrial Management, Supply Chain, MBA or related fields - Knowledge of supply chain terminology and ability to communicate with stakeholders - At least 3 years of experience in related fields - Experience managing and analyzing large quantities of data - Prior experience with databases and business intelligence reporting tools is a plus - Advanced Knowledge with Lean Logistics and Six Sigma is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing accordingly to meet Supply Chain KPIs - Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse cross-functional team - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings - Strong analytical abilities and experience creating and managing advanced models using Microsoft Excel - Comfort working as both part of a team and/or entirely as an independent performer - Having Knowledge in English Language.
