Job Description

This job serves the interests of Bayer Parsian AG & as a local legal entity and all its subgroups / business by providing state of the art efficient HR Business Partnership & Leading the local HR function as the interface and key point of contact to the Regional HR and entity Managing Director. In addition; the Job Holder as part of the Country Leadership Team member is also responsible for company legal affairs & holds legal accountability as entity official signatory holder in compliance with local country laws. • Through a clear understanding of each subgroups business models and engagement with the country commercial leaders, translate the business requirements and challenges into relevant HR actions and initiatives. • The job holder leads the country HR function in all HR topics and ensuring progress in team development. • Considering the country complexity & sanctions, The Incumbent is responsible for developing, execution & implementation of agreed upon Bayer HR directives, policies, processes, systems and programs throughout the country and strives for the standardization, harmonization and alignment of local HR activities with Regional HR Head and with the business requirements in mind. • Supporting country Leadership members to align their operations and employee capabilities to the overall strategic directions and the mid-to-long-term needs of the local operations. • The Job Holder serves the Managing Director and the Country Commercial Leads as an interface and point of contact to the Bayer Turkey HR Team. • Develop & execute effective local Talent Management (TM) initiatives in line with the regional & global Bayer Group TM strategy to attract, identify, develop and retain the right employees and to maintain a powerful talent pipeline in the country. • Responsible to provide advisory to the Managing Director and Country Commercial Leads thus enabling them to drive the talent management agenda including the country Personnel & Organization Conference (POC) process for two separate regions. • The Incumbent is responsible for developing HR marketing/employer branding, identifying, proposing & creating strategies based on market best practices for attracting & retaining talents in a challenging market thus ensuring that Bayer will be an employer of choice in the country. • The job holder is responsible to create local functional Operational Expense budget & manages all local HR costs and provides transparent country figures on demand and strives for adequate transparency and efficiency of HR costs charged to the country and ensures that regional agreed upon budgeting rules are followed. • The Job holder will have additional responsibility as the active HR BP for Pharma Business as well as legal accountability under the country local law and along with the Managing Director & CFO which includes; signing of contracts, bank cheques & other official documents, supporting the business and company governance and smooth operation. • The job holder also represents the HR function through membership in the Country Leadership team.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Management or equivalent, especially with a focus on Human Resources • Min 10 Years of experience in HR function and 5 years minimum in Management role with a track record in Leadership Experience. • Capable in working in a complex business environment with different business models. • English language should be fluent both in the spoken and written • Knowledgeable in General business acumen for the country • In depth Knowledge about the country legal & labor employment conditions. • Experience and proven track record in working across the core HR function’s preferably within a multinational & multicultural company. • Sound experience in Financial budgeting (Opex & Capex) and financial impact derived from HR decisions & policies. • Team-oriented leadership skills. • Communications strategy and messaging skills with the ability to build long term partnerships with internal management & staff. • Take a strong stand with management if required. • Strong networker, especially within the HR function & with the ability to share and interact with the regional and global HR BPs
