Job Description

POSITION SNAPSHOT Location: Qazvin Factory Company: Nestlé Full-time. POSITION SUMMARY ● Provide support and expertise in the area of cost/costing analysis. Undertake complex and critical research, interpret the results of analysis and provide alternatives/recommendations for further consideration. A DAY IN THE LIFE … Cost Savings Initiatives and Continuous Improvement: ● Seek and support cost improvement opportunities, be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives. ● Participate on project teams in order to ensure validation, review and proposed savings are accurately tracked. ● Involve in daily activities associated with NCE in the factory environment and participation in NCE Pillar meetings. ● Identifying control gaps and control failures on time. Reporting and Analytics: ● Review and validate factory reporting of monthly actuals, including providing this data for factory NCE meetings to ensure transparency of information. Review and validate period-end and year-end close reports for the factory ensuring Nestlé financial policies, Accounting Standards, and Costing Standards are followed. Strategic Evaluations: ● Perform financial simulations, product costing and estimates, and CAPEX evaluations as required ensuring full transparency of costs. Business Planning: ● Coordinate and provide inputs for budgeting, planning, and the dynamic forecast. ● Active participation in Standard Cost Budget, Revision, and Replacement Cost calculations. ● Ad hoc cost analysis for the needs of the business/factory/functional controllers. Internal Controls/Compliance: ● Follow costing guidelines and associated standard operating procedures when generating financial documents and performing daily activities. ● Perform routine audit activities within the factory, in line with best practices, to ensure compliance on critical areas) stock-taking. Appropriately escalate business risks. Knowledge Transfer: ● Prepare and publish financial KPI data on a regular basis; perform analysis of KPI data and transfer this knowledge of the key figures to the relevant stakeholders in order to promote understanding. ● Perform accounting and costing knowledge transfer to shop floor and production supervisors. Business Process and Systems: ● Ensure all processes and analysis relating to costing master data, actual activities for period-end close, and quarterly transfer price are completed accurately and on time, first time right.

Requirements

What will make you successful? ● Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience. ● Academic Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Formal financial qualification (or in process of studying for). ● Operational Experience: In Accounting or Costing, ideally within a factory or supply chain. ● Good knowledge of product composition. ● Good knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing conversion process, and physical/technical aspects of a factory. ● Good understanding of business processes, internal controls, the GLOBE best practices, and systems supporting these E2E processes and functional best practices (particularly Finance and Control and Operations - Manufacturing). ● Awareness of accounting standards (NAS), and able to access. ● Understanding of the factory functions (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement) and their primary activities. ● NCE literate with a good understanding of NCE methodologies and supporting tools e.g.) Loss Tree. ● SAP Knowledge of all costing-related modules. ● Acquire good communication and language (English) skills. ● Advanced knowledge of all MS Office programs, especially MS Excel. ● Good interpersonal skills, both within the function and with other members of the factory Solid organizational, planning, and analysis skills. ● Ability to deal with people at all levels.
