Job Description
To ensure the proper product costing and reporting of the existing procedures and help to plan, budget, and monitor performance, set standard unit costs, and recommend appropriate cost-saving opportunities. To work on special projects as required.
Essential accountabilities and responsibilities:
● Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
● Report on periodic variances and their causes.
● Collect and analyze cost accounting data and assist with the cycle count/physical inventories.
● Review the BOM and prepare the production stoppage and wastage report monthly.
● Prepare, analyze, and report monthly, quarterly, and YTD gross margin analysis and product cost change analysis.
● Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, production KPIs and others.
● Find and analyze new ways of reducing overall product costs.
