Job Description

The successful candidate will play a central role in all aspects of Corporate Finance. The candidate responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Investments Advisory - Preparing financial models and cash flow forecasts for all projects/ investments in the group Asset Management (Capital market portfolio and VC portfolio) - Conducting equity research on publicly traded companies in Energy sector based on the CFA standards - Building and maintaining financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections for target companies and portfolio companies - Providing investment recommendation based on models, valuations and risk assessment - Drafting individual company and industry-wide research report for the investment committee - Reviewing documents provided by the startups - contributing in startup valuation, developing financial models and benchmarking M&A activities - Contributing in development of the M&A strategy - Contributing in identification, execution and negotiations of M&A opportunities Debt and Equity fundraising - Ensuring that there is adequate funding for the project/ investment - Preparing required paperwork and investor packs in order to pitch to providers of finance - Analyzing various financing alternatives for each project/investment in order to minimize financing costs - Attending investment roadshows to present projects to potential investors Business Negotiations - Leading the Finance & Accounting negotiations for all new ventures/projects, especially in the E&P segment - Engaging with all JV partners in negotiations with NIOC on financial and accounting issues - Contributing in drafting legal documents i.e. main contract, JOA, accounting procedures, etc.

Requirements

- Very strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills, including DCF and trading comps - Experience in M&A is highly preferred, but will consider banking experience in other departments of investment banks - At least 1 year of experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking or a Corporate Finance related role - Thorough knowledge of corporate finance and accounting, as well as understanding of related legal and tax aspects - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with different teams - Excellent technology skills with superior Excel and PowerPoint skills - Fluent in English (Both written & spoken)
