Job Description
Audit Committee Related Role: • Fully responsible for creating and delivering the reports including presentations to the Audit Committee • Supporting the FD & the Leadership Team in responding and improving the governance, risk & control deficiencies across the group • Providing guidance to the board of directors, senior management, staff, and employees on governance, risk & control related matters • Liaising with the outsourced internal audit team, reviewing and analyzing their findings and accordingly reporting to the audit committee Internal Controls Related Role: • Building and amending the Internal Control Framework and related procedures, compiling & issuing Internal Control reports conclusions and recommending for the improvements • Work closely with the Process Owners to support and maintain the identification, description and documentation of the internal control activities within the procedures • Provide training to ensure Process Owners have adequate awareness and understanding of the Internal Control objectives
Requirements
• Professional qualification: ACCA/CA/CPA/CIA/FRM or any other relevant qualification • Seven to ten (7 – 10) years’ post-qualification experience in top-tier organization (preferably quoted/listed company) • An excellent knowledge of Internal Audit, Controls, Risk Management & Governance • An excellent proficiency in drafting the reports & presentations to the audit committee • Excellent project managerial and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects required • Ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks • Strategic thinking and leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management and communication at all levels within an organization • Facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, create cohesive teams, and respond quickly to manage • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
