Job Description
- Supervise day-to-day operations within the department
- Handling legal technicalities and negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers
- Observing and obtaining information from all relevant sources
- Develop and implement purchasing, policies, and procedures
- Develop cost reduction strategies
- Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and suppliers
- Collaborates with departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for supplies, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions
