Job Description

- Providing the required instructions for legal department with planning department cooperation. - Providing, categorizing, and continuous assessment of market basket to ensure that is optimized from sale, profitability, and customer perspective. - Continuous assessment of margins for per commodity group to ensure the margin maintenance in accordance with annual plan. - Continuous market assessment to identify and select the vendors, matched with the purposes and plans of the organization and provide the vendors database. - Having meeting with vendors and provide the related reports. - Awareness and mastery in regulations, Laws, and the criteria of purchase and supply nationally, and also regulations and rules related to national unions about purchase, supply, discount and promotions. - Verification of purchase and supply regarded to the best quality and price, and lack of major deviation comparing the main market competitors. - Steady assessment of creation and regulation of minutes related to the purchase contracts. - Continuous evaluation of receiving the product samples and also categorization and maintenance of the products to verify the quality products. - Ongoing estimation of commodity pricing to ensure the maintenance of company interests in accordance with the margin and the competition possibility with market competitors. - Supervision on creating the vendor’s database and ranking the vendors. - Continuous evaluation of inventory to ensure the best goods movement in warehouse and stores, and also propose practical suggestions about the slow moving goods and dead stock. - Surveillance on providing and performing the advertising campaign and also weekly, seasonal promotions. - Planning for the private label supply for the company and supervising the selection, supply and pricing procedure. - Surveillance on the quality of received goods to ensure the vendor’s quality standards. Reporting periodically to the CEO.

Requirements

- Mastery in the calculation of loss and benefits (margin, mark up, VAT) - Acquaintance with sales industry, especially discount sales system - Advanced negotiation skills - Mastery in commercial and civil law - Mastery in principals of commercial contracts - Management and supervisory skills
