Job Description

o Planning, performing, and coordinating all commercial affairs such as: o Corresponding with foreign suppliers and monitoring order processing o Negotiating, contract preparation, ordering and preparing related documents for payment o Arranging and monitoring all activities regarding payment and cooperating with other units when necessary: Banking and finance, Currency allocation by Ministry of Health and the Central Bank, arranging payment through financial intermediaries (third parties) to circumvent sanctions. o Arranging for shipping; air, sea, and land, coordinating with suppliers, supervising the shipment and delivery schedules, arranging an inspection. o Commercial registration procedures, customs affairs, transportation follow-ups o Strategic management of commerce: o Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations o Responsible for getting all the needed governmental and non-governmental approvals and licenses in the importation process o Assist the top management in decision making regarding sourcing by delivering current commercial insight o Devising a very disciplined framework for all commercial activities: timetables, paper trails, responsibility delegation

Requirements

• A Bachelor or Master's degree in management, business administration or related fields • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management or related fields; preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical equipment industry. • Comprehensive knowledge of foreign procurement and commercial procedures and regulations, especially impeccable command of: o Import/Export & shipping o Customs clearance o Banking (currency allocations) o Insurance & Inspection (of shipments) • Highly effective in communication, presentation and negotiation skills • Highly skilled in working with MS Office software and the internet • Highly fluent in English Language, especially in formal correspondence and negotiation.
